The internet’s homophobic vitriol reaches real people and they have something to say about it. Dear Homophobes, is a testament to coming of age as “queer,” encounters with intolerant religious dogma, and blurry lines of gender and sexuality in self and social perceptions of “normal.”
Dear Homophobes, is the directorial debut of BUREAU of CHANGE apprentice Reggie Nickerson, created with fellow apprentices Hannah North and Ron Brimmer. Reggie worked with BUREAU in 2016-2017 while completing her second year at Delgado Community College in New Orleans.
Reggie is working on being more hands on in the film industry. Her dream is to become a film writer, producer and director.
