BUREAU of CHANGE Meets with North Korea

In November 2013, BUREAU of CHANGE launched a theater of diplomacy with North Korea and convened at a demilitarized zone (DMZ) blue room near the country’s southern border. Through the semblance of a seemingly impossible exchange, the BUREAU met with North Korean leaders in attempt to transform parasitic attitudes under different cultural spells into ones that thrive by a symbiotic arrangement.

This recording represents the available documentation of our negotiations with the United States’ last remaining Cold War enemy.

NORTH KOREA AGREES TO MEET WITH BUREAU OF CHANGE

 

BUREAU and Kim Jong-Un find common ground in @omgthatspunny and poor luck getting response to correspondence to U.S. government officials; set stage for meeting.

 

New Orleans — September 13, 2013 — In the beginning, the semblance of this exchange carried the energetic essence of an endangered conundrum. It had no one answer to alleviate the suffering of others when based off of economic battles and culture wars. With these destructive forces simultaneously at play across the planet and spreading like contagious mental diseases, BUREAU of CHANGE realized that the likelihood of meeting with Kim Jong-Un held the same odds as Kim Jong-Il scoring 11 holes-in-one during a golf match.

And so a miracle happened.

Kim Jong-Un learned of our attempts to contact him for a diplomatic discussion. He also learned that BUREAU had tried to write to our own nation’s policy makers and received the silent answer of no response. It was this unsurprising absence of a response from our own nation that sparked a very surprising response from him.

Our letter to U.S. policy makers read:

“Dear Board of Education, so are we.”[1]

Kim-Jong-Un read this and later told us that he found BUREAU of CHANGE to be very punny or funny. He sometimes got his English words confused.

He also told us that he had made a wish on his last birthday that the US and North Korea could be “friend-amies” and not enemies. Then Kim Jong-Un asked us what we thought about his French, before telling us it was his 30th language to master in this life.
